This week at Kaamilah!
Hope all our wonderful sisters around the world had a wonderful World Hijab Day 2015! For the past two years, February 1st is marked as a day of recognition for those who choose to wear a hijab, and also as a means to propagate religious harmony, and bring awareness towards the veil.
A huge, heartfelt Thank you! to all our kind supporters who visited us for Kaamilah's World Hijab Day celebrations!
We marked the event by welcoming our new hijabi sisters, who were each gifted free prints from The Craft Souk to commemorate their big step. Hafsa of HafsaCreates regaled the little ones with fun-filled arts/crafts and various doll activities. Light refreshments and great sales store wide kept our guests busy and in celebratory spirits.
And in other news, our very own Iman of hijabistas.net, speaks to The Muslim Moms of Canada on the ethos of the Kaamilah brand. And everything that keeps the team motivated to serve the community while keeping the deen and positive outlook intact.
